The Art of Living & Working Together free – equal – together  a weekend seminar at the Powerhouse Mill Lane Callan Kilkenny Ireland

What would it mean to truly live, work, and organize free, equal, and together?

Across Ireland — in intentional communities, local initiatives, social enterprises, farms, arts collectives, and grassroots projects — people are already experimenting with new ways of living and collaborating. Yet many of these initiatives encounter the same questions again and again:

• How do we stay connected when things become difficult?
• How do we make decisions without hierarchy or burnout?
• How do we relate to money, land, and ownership without losing trust or purpose?
• How do we grow without losing our soul?

This weekend seminar offers a space to slow down, meet one another, and explore these questions at their root. It is designed as an orientation for those considering participation in the Training The Art of Living Together (26/27), and for anyone involved in community or initiative-based work who wants to deepen their practice.

Who? This weekend is especially suited for members of existing or emerging communities, people involved in social, ecological, cultural, or economic initiative, those exploring new forms of ownership, cooperation, and stewardship, anyone who feels that real societal change begins with inner work and lived practice. No prior knowledge is required. You, exactly as you are, are the starting point.

When? May 8, 9 & 10 2026

• Friday May 8: 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm public lecture (no need to book for this)
• Saturday May 9: 10.00 am until 5.30 pm
• Sunday May 10: 10.00 am until 1.00 pm

Cost: Entire weekend: Pay what you can (between €100,— and €250,—) determining the price is part of the seminar. If you only wish to attend Friday evening, then please make a donation at the door. All exclusive of meals and accommodation, inclusive of coffee/tea and biscuits.
