Economy Transformers
An Introduction Tour in Scotland April 22nd - 25th 2026
Do you long for a society that is worthy of the human being and of the Earth?
Imagine a society where people can truly be themselves regardless of background, belief, gender, or skin colour. A society where connection and authenticity are not the exception, but the norm. Where the economy serves life, and where what we create together is shared in a fair and meaningful way.
It may sound like an ideal. But what if it is already beginning to emerge? And what if each of us can take part in shaping it, starting from where we are, here and now?
During his introduction tour in Scotland, Jac Hielema invites you into an open exploration of these questions. Through talks, conversations, and small exercises, we will look at how society is changing, what this asks of us as human beings, and how we might contribute, each in our own way, to a future grounded in free, equal and together.
This is not a finished story, but a shared inquiry. You are warmly invited to take part.
Wednesday April 22: Edinburgh
What if society could be organised in a way that truly reflects what we need as human beings?
Free:Â to be and express who we are.
Equal: to meet one another as equals, beyond status or position.
Together: to cooperate and take responsibility for what we create as a whole.
These are not just ideals, but living principles. When understood inwardly as human needs, and outwardly as ways of organising society, they open the possibility for a different kind of world.
This introduction invites you to explore what these principles mean in practice and what they might ask of us, here and now.

In times of uncertainty, different futures become possible. But not all futures arise from the same way of thinking.
In this workshop, we explore four distinct scenarios for how society can evolve — from control and fragmentation to cooperation and conscious creation. Each scenario reflects a different relationship between people, power, and the means of living.
Through reflection and a simple exercise, you are invited to recognise these dynamics in the world around you and within yourself.
What kind of future are we moving towards? And what becomes possible when we begin to choose differently?

How have societies organised themselves over time — and what does money have to do with it?
In this workshop, we explore the development of human communities from early forms of sharing and religious life to markets, states, and modern financial systems. Each step reflects a shift in human consciousness and in how we relate to value, ownership, and one another.
Through reflection and a simple exercise, you are invited to sense how these patterns are still active today — and what new forms might be emerging.
What is the next step in the evolution of society?
And what inner shift might it ask of us?
